The Nixphe Game

Special note to beta testers.

~INFORMATION ON GAME PLAY~

The Nixphe Game is played in action rounds, with each action round spaced at least an hour apart. You only get one action ticket a round. In other words, a player can only perform one action each round.

The basic actions available are:

1. Create a Starter Nixphe. You may adopt up to four Nixphe via this method. After you have four, you can get more through having a Nixphe flame.

2. Move a Nixphe. A Nixphe may move from one Flight to another. See below for information on Flights.

3. Request a morph of a Nixphe. For more information on what a morph does, see the information on Nixphe Houses. If your request for a morph causes a Nixphe to flame, the resulting baby will be yours, and will not count as one of your four starters.

~NAMING RULES AND ID'S~

Each Nixphe will be assigned an ID and a name. The owner of the Nixphe may name it. Nixphe names may not be vulgar. Persons caught creating Nixphe with vulgar names will loose their game accounts. Once a Nixphe is named there is not a way to change the name, so be careful when choosing what to name your Nixphe.

~NIXPHE GENDERS~

Is your Nixphe male, female, or something else? Yes.

~NIXPHE GROWTH~

Every adopted Nixphe, even starters, begin as a baby Nixphe. All baby Nixphe look the same. With it's first morph, a Nixphe grows into an adult and displays its adult characteristics.

~INFORMATION ON SYMBOLS, HOUSES AND COLORS, AND COALITIONS~

Each Nixphe has a house and symbols. At least one of these, and possibly all of them, will change each time a Nixphe is morphed.

A Nixphe's house will be reflected in it's body color. The different houses are divided into two coalitions, with the houses in coalitions being more closely connected to eachother than to houses of other coalitions. The Houses and their Colors and Coalitions are as follows:

House of Nil: The non-house. A Nixphe belongs to this house only once in it's life, when it is first adopted as a baby. From it's first morph on, it will belog to one of the other houses. (Blank)

The House of Flame: When a Nixphe flames, it will belong to this house for one round. (Rainbow)

The Times Coalition includes these Houses:
House of Roses (Red)
House of the River (Blue)
House of the Sun (Yellow)
House of Mountains (Green)

The Seasons Coalition includes:
House of the Royal Crown (Purple)
House of the Desert (Orange)
House of Midnight (Black)
House of Swans (White)

Each Nixphe may have either one or three symbols. When a Nixphe morphs, it may change which symbols and how many it has.

~INFORMATION ON FLIGHTS~

Nixphe join groups called Flights. A flight may have up to four flight memebers. It is a known fact that Nixphe only flame when they are joined to a full flight.

Nixphe can move what Flight they are in. Moving a Nixphe requires using an action ticket in a Nixphe Game round.

New Flights can be created without using an action ticket. You can do this on the Browse Flights page.

Permission is not needed to joing any particular Flight. The only condition to joining is that there be a slot available.

~INFORMATION ON FLAMING~

On rare occations, when circumstances are right, morphing a Nixphe will cause it to flame. When a Nixphe flames, a new Nixphe is born.Nixphe obtained from flames don't count toward the maxium four starter Nixphe a person can create.

~POINT OF THE GAME~

The point of the game is to
1. Get your Nixphe to flame as many times as possible.
2. Adopt as many Nixphe as possible.
